Sport
College Sport
Tweed Valley Adventist College promotes a healthy lifestyle, and incorporated into this is the school’s wish to promote the desire of our students to participate in competitive sports.
We provide all students with opportunities to involve themselves in both individual and team activities throughout the year. These opportunities are provided to the students as individuals at our College Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals. From their achievements at College Carnivals they are given the opportunity to compete at North Coast Independent Schools Sports Association (NCIS), then onto Combined Independent Schools (CIS) in Sydney if they qualify at an NCIS Carnival. CIS is a pathway to All Schools and PSSA. Opportunity is also available to participate in Adventist School Sports Association (ASSA).
Congratulations to our Touch Football team who recently claimed the QLD trophy for the tenth year in a row.
College Carnivals
Andrews, Bates and Haskell compete against each other at our College Carnivals. This is for Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics. House shields are awarded for each event and then at Presentation Evening for the overall winning house for the year.
